INTRODUCTION:

TK198, THANKO’s Zr-Fe alloy that was made into DF tablets to offer a getter for lamps with lower activation and working temperatures than TK101. Its nitrogen sorption is not so efficient, and very suitable for nitrogen environment lamp. This series also fit for vacuum devices where evaporable ones are prohibited from using, or they can be used together with evaporable ones to increase gettering effects. These getters are good choices for high intensity gas discharging lamps, high-intensity switch tubes, gas purifiers, stainless steel vacuum bottles. TK198 getters can be activated by means of high-frequency induction, electrical heating, radiation heating or laser heating.
